LeBus began as a Blacksmith shop making tools mainly for the Oilfield around 1900. When Mr. LeBus saw the need to improve the spooling of wire rope on the Drilling Rigs he began trying different methods and eventually created the "LeBus" pattern which is still the best method used today for spooling multiple layers of wire rope evenly and accurately. With LeBus now supplying its products to all industries that need to spool multiple layers of rope, LeBus still remembers where it began and goes above and beyond to support the Oilfield with LeBus Grooving, and much more. To this day LeBus is still used on practically every Drilling Rig and Workover Rig in the world.
